Code of Ethics
Chartered Family Wealth Advisors are expected to exhibit the highest standards of honesty and integrity. Accordingly, the services provided require honesty, impartiality and fairness. They must be dedicated to the protection of the financial health, safety and welfare of their clients. In doing so, designees must perform under a standard of professional behavior which requires adherence to the highest principles of ethical conduct.
Chartered Family Wealth Advisors, in the fulfillment of their professional duties, shall:
I. Hold paramount the financial safety, health and welfare of their clients by providing services with integrity.
II. Issue advice in an objective and truthful manner.
III. Perform services only in the areas of their competence and seek knowledge and skill in areas of deficiency.
IV. Avoid deceptive acts and disclose areas where conflicts of interest exist when providing services to their clients.
V. Conduct themselves honorably, responsibly, ethically, and lawfully so as to enhance the honor, reputation and usefulness of the Chartered Family Wealth Advisor designation.
No Chartered Family Wealth Advisor may render advice, in any fashion, to any individual outside of the area of expertise for which he or she has been licensed and trained.
